Visits of up to 60 emerging researchers from Iraq per year to the TU Dortmund University within the framework of the projects Connect for Change and BSF - Building a Sustainable Future to enable insights into the European university landscape and to support professionalization and internationalization Īll activities are and have been implemented under the academic leadership of Prof.Open formats (including creative competitions, exchanges, social media projects, etc.) to encourage students in the region to engage freely and creatively with chosen topics (currently the UN Sustainable Development Goals).Advanced training and discussion events for emerging researchers in order to promote scientific and teaching skills and to support international connectivity.Participatory student conferences with up to 400 participants (in presence and as online format) to strengthen academia, dialogue, democratization and reconciliation.Various activities and formats aimed at students, teachers and researchers from different academic disciplines promote academic and intercultural exchange between our universities and contribute to the academic reconstruction and peace and reconciliation work at the Mosul University and in the region. RESI is a university cooperation between the University of Graz, the University of Mosul (Iraq) and the TU Dortmund University (Germany) with the aim to support the University of Mosul in its academic rehabilitation.
